FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What type of sessions do you offer?
Maternity, Newborn, Gender Reveal, Children, Family, Senior, Beloved, Engagement, Bridal, Trash the Dress, Anniversary, Business Headshot, Fashion, and MORE... If you don't see your specific need, please ask! :-)
How far in advance should I schedule my session?
I would recommend booking your session as soon as you are confident about getting portraits taken. Wait time can be anywhere from two weeks to two months, depending on the time of year. My busiest seasons are Spring and Fall.
How do I book a session?
You can call or email me to book a session. We will discuss which date is best. I shoot most outdoor sessions within two hours of sunset as that allows for the best lighting. Payments are due upon booking and may be mailed.
Do you travel outside Houston Co.?
Absolutely! When scheduling your session, a travel fee will be discussed and added to your session fee.
What about clothing and locations?
We will decide location based on outfit styles/colors. Be creative! I suggest wearing a mixture of bold and neutral solid colors that compliment each other. Keep patterns to a minimum. Layers and textures are a great way to add interest to your portraits. Stay away from typical all white or black shirts. What if the weather is bad?
No problem! We'll just reschedule to another time that suits both our schedules.
How long until I get my photos?
In the days following your session, I'll post sneak peaks on Facebook and Instagram. I will then choose and edit the best images and host a password protected online gallery for you within one to two weeks. You will be able to share this with others, view and download your photos directly from the online gallery. Please note that wedding and event portraits require a longer processing time.
What info do I need for my newborn session?
Let me know your due date ASAP so I can leave some wiggle room in my schedule around that day. Contact me immediately after birth so we can schedule. Newborns begin to lose their ability to "curl up" and become more alert around 10-14 days old, so it's imperative we photograph them before then (the best window is Day 4-8). I'll send you an info sheet with more detailed instructions before your session.
